Two shelves — one search
Each category holds either verified directory records or reviewed references. Point-and-open.

How it works
Three steps from draft to shelf.
The desk keeps quality tight — every entry passes through a real pair of eyes before it goes live.
Draft the entry.
Pick record or reference, fill the fields — location, category, hours for records; format, pages, category for references.
Send to the desk.
The desk verifies contact for records or reads through the reference for the library. Nothing publishes automatically.
Files to the shelf.
Approved entries file to their shelf and show up in search, on the directory list or in the library.

Questions
Common ones, answered.
Anything not answered here — send the desk a note through the contact form.
01What’s the difference between a directory record and a reference?+
A record is a real place, business or entity with location and contact fields — searchable by category. A reference is a downloadable file — a brief, guide, or report — kept in the library for anyone to read.
02Do I need an account to browse?+
No. Browsing the directory and downloading references is open. An account is only needed to submit new records or upload new references.
03How long does review take?+
Most submissions clear the desk within a few days. Records need a verifiable contact; references need to open cleanly and match their claimed metadata.
04Which file formats does the library accept?+
Open formats only — portable text, markdown, CSV and standard readers. No proprietary or DRM-wrapped files.
